The Membership Committee is responsible for collaborating with committees, groups, board and staff on key strategies, challenges, and needs in order to provide insight on membership recruitment, engagement and retention.

  1. Membership Service. Identifying the needs of members and recommending the development of services to meet those needs.
  2. Increasing Membership. Recommending means for increasing CoC’s membership base.
  3. Keeping Membership Informed. Recommending to the CoC Board ways in which to make prospective and current members aware of the resources, services, and membership benefits of CoC
  4. Welcoming New Members. Recommending ways to acknowledge new members and to encourage participation in CoC activities. Conducting welcoming activities via the committee Onboarding program.
  5. Propose strategies for re-engagement of lapsed members.
  6. Identifies target groups for potential CoC membership

Monthly Meetings- The meeting of the Membership Committee takes place on the third Wednesday of the month at 10 am.
